Format

The conference will be hybrid: on-site and online. The on-site event will take place in Gandia (Valencia, Spain). The online event will be synchronous, meaning that it will take place at the same time as the on-site event. Both on-site and online presentations will be live-streamed.

Symposia, regular sessions and round tables will be recorded during the conference and made available to delegates (recordings will not be open to the general public) shortly after the end of the meeting and for a period of two months. Afterwards, all recordings will be deleted.

The language of the meeting is English, however, Spanish-English interpretation will be provided upon request. We are working on having all sessions interpreted between Spanish and English, but this cannot be confirmed yet.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

The time slot for oral communications is 15 minutes (10′ for the presentation and 5′ for questions).

Oral communications will be live-streamed, not prerecorded. However, if there is any specific reason why you cannot give your talk synchronously, please contact us to check other options.

POSTERS

All posters will be available online on a dedicated platform for the whole duration of the meeting. In addition, there will be a live on-site poster session. Poster size should be A0 or smaller, vertical (portrait) orientation.

ABSTRACTS

Abstract length cannot exceed 350 words. After registering for the conference, you will receive a link to proceed with your abstract submission. We will publish Conference proceedings with all abstracts.
Publication of extended abstracts is under consideration, but not confirmed yet.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops will be online or on-site, with a maximum of 25 attendees. They will be a combination of masterclasses and some practical sessions. You can sign up for workshops while registering for the conference. All workshops will take place on the 12th of September.

FORUMS

We will reserve some time slots for different forums on topics proposed by delegates (bottom-up approach). Forums are aimed to serve as a space to discuss specific problems, with the possibility to form working groups for further action beyond the conference dates.

ROUNDTABLES

There will be some roundtables on specific topics, which will be updated on the programme in upcoming weeks. Their format will be hybrid, with speakers and delegates attending online and/or on-site.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Each day we will have a couple of plenary talks, addressing important, broad topics. Plenary talks will be at the start and the end of the day.

EXHIBITORS’ AREA

On the 13th and 14th of September, publishing houses, NGOs and companies aligned with the conference will be present in the exhibitors’ area. This space will be open during the whole day, aiming to learn, interact and generate synergies.

We are working on having some art exhibitions too 🙂
