Transmitting Science is managing the BRIDGES conference 2022. Regarding the legal aspects derived from your relationship with TRANSMITTING SCIENCE SL (www.transmittingscience.com), we remind you that, according to the data protection regulations, your data will be processed according to the following indications:
- Identification of the controller for processing your data
Transmitting Science SL processes your personal data to ensure an adequate organization, follow-up, communication and promotion of the BRIDGES 2022 conference, which will take place on September, 12th-16th 2022 as an online and on-site conference.
The data controller is Transmitting Science SL, who is responsible for the overall management of the event, the communication with the organization committee, speakers and participants before and after the end of the event, as well as communication and promotion of the event. Transmitting Science SL supports the registration and the logistics of the organisation of the event.

- For what purpose do we process your personal data?
The purpose of the processing of your personal data is handling registration and attendance, reporting on the event, as well as event follow-up actions. It includes, in particular, lists and mailing lists for contacts, invitations, participants, reports, minutes, distribution of reports/minutes, feedback on reports, meeting follow-up, follow-up meetings, follow-up actions, photographs/pictures, presentations, audio and/or video recording of speakers and participants, news and publications.
Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making including profiling.
The BRIDGES 2022 Conference uses the video platforms:
YouTube, which is provided by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). YouTube is a platform which allows the playback of audio and video files.
If you access a corresponding page of our resources, the embedded YouTube player will establish a connection to YouTube so that the video or audio file can be transmitted and played. In the process, data are also transmitted to YouTube as the responsible body. We are not responsible for the processing of this data by YouTube.

Vimeo is run by Vimeo, LLC, whose headquarters are located at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011. When you access websites that have such a plug-in, a connection is established to the Vimeo servers, from which the video will be played. As part of this process, these Vimeo servers will receive data as to which of our website pages you have visited. If at that time you are logged in as a Vimeo member, this visitation data will be assigned to your membership account. Using a Vimeo plugin, for instance by clicking on the start button of a video, will also be assigned to your user account. This can be prevented by logging out of your Vimeo user account and deleting the corresponding Vimeo cookies, before using our internet site. - How long will we keep your data?
The data will be kept for as long as your relationship with the Organisation is active, once the relationship has ended, the data will be kept for up to 4 years in accordance with the legally stipulated time periods in the labour, commercial and tax regulations.

– Execution of a contract: The legal basis of the processing in the execution of a contract for the provision of teaching services by the trainer.
The data are necessary for the hiring of the services of the trainer, otherwise, the same can not proceed.

PROCESSING ACTIVITY: Management and publication of Images and Videos
- For what purpose do we process your personal data?
Your consent is required for:
- Taking photos/screenshots and videos (recording live sessions) during the event.
- Processing and publication of the recorded session on our web page and in our YouTube channel/Vimeo account.
- Including your name, images, and affiliation on the website (www.bridges2022.com).
The processing of your personal data corresponding to the images and/or videos will be used for the purpose of the conference in electronic media such as social networks, and corporate websites.
- How long will we keep your data?
Your personal data will no longer be processed until you revoke your consent to the processing of your images. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the legality of the processing of those images processed and published prior to withdrawal. However, in those media that are under our management and control and are technically possible, we will remove them without undue delay.
